It’s time to raise the curtain! It’s time to light the lights! Join us as a year of color, creativity, and puppet magic take the stage!

Embark on a one-of-a-kind art adventure in this year-long watercolor workshop hosted by Tangie Baxter and Jenny Larsen, where we’ll explore the imaginative worlds inspired by Jim Henson’s legendary creations! Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced artist, this workshop combines watercolor techniques, stamp carving, mixed-media, and guidance from a fantastic line-up of talented guest star teachers to inspire your artistic journey.

Throughout this SENSATIONAL year, you’ll:

• Master watercolor techniques emphasizing character study, texture, and color combinations while exploring the playful and eccentric worlds of puppet characters.

• Create unique stamps with carving techniques to build a foundation for easy character creations. (This project can also be done with drawing!)

• Connect with a supportive and inspiring community of fellow artists who share your love for creativity and innovative, entertaining, quirky characters. 

• Be inspired by monthly challenges and themes exploring iconic franchises (Sesame Street, Muppet Show, Fraggle Rock, Etc.) 

Your INSPIRATIONAL ART ADVENTURE includes:

• Two LIVE online art adventure parties (January 3rd and August 1st at 8 PM Eastern) that will be over 3 hours each with in-depth projects taught by Jenny and Tangie
• On the second Wednesday of each month (except January and August), we'll gather for a 45-minute Character Close-Up session. A variety of exciting guest star teachers will join us to paint and draw their favorite characters, offering unique perspectives and inspiration! [Ten sessions in all! Wowee!] Teachers lined up so far: Mindy Lacefield, Virginia, April, Sammy, Nathan, Trista
• If you can't make the live classes, no worries! All the replays will be available to you with unlimited access. 
• PLUS! Every month, Jenny and Tangie will provide at least one pre-recorded lesson with projects for you to work on at your own pace! 
• Handouts, magic sticker collage sheets, host gifts, and more throughout the year!
