Meet the Creative Team- Trista Posted on 4 Mar 02:00

We have got some really amazing ladies on our Happy Place Creative Team. They help us give you magical content each month and we wanted to give you the chance to get to know them! We asked each of them a few artsy questions so we can dig a little deeper into how they became part of the Art Journaling the Magic Crew!

Today let’s meet: Trista

Where is the most magical place in the parks for you?

The hub and Jolly Holiday (gateways to possibility!), there is also a tree in Frontierland near the water fountains, where we have rested and fueled up on pretzels and pickles and filled our water bottles. Also the area between DL and DCA, we always have a group hug on our way out, giving thanks for all the magic bestowed on us. Walking into Cars Land. The Redwood Creek Trail in general.

How has art impacted your life?

It has connected me with like-minded people. It has shown me a magical way of life. It is a place to practice and be brave and be me.

You’re a new addition to the crayon box. What color would you be and why?

I'm going to stay Celestial Purple, a color that would be in both the night sky and morning dawn. A color of transition.

What Disney character do you relate the most to and why?

Rapunzel. She is an artist, lives in the moment and (I believe) chooses to remain open to magic and stay a bit naive.

Why do you love Art Journaling the Magic?

I love Art Journaling the Magic for the amazing friendships I've made, for the ability to see the magic in the details, and for a path to living with magic every day.

How did you become a part of the Art Journaling the Magic family?

I took the Walk in the Park online class, when it was first released, and then attended the November 2015 retreat (#6?)

If you got to meet Walt Disney, what would you ask him?

What was your connection to music that makes it such a vital part of the park's atmosphere?
